Councillor Aaron Wynne

Aaron is a keen long-distance runner and competitor. He is also a local councillor.

“I stood for election in 2017 when I was 20 years old. I decided that I wanted to help my community and make sure my hometown is well-represented. As a young person who wants to continue living and working locally, I know first-hand how difficult that is. Many of my friends have already left the area in search of work and a home. This is a great injustice in my eyes, and I wasn’t going to wait around for someone else to solve these issues. People of all ages and backgrounds belong in local politics – I’d urge you to get involved.”

Aaron is a Scrutiny Member.
